Reporter

Lauren Talotta is a reporter for Channel 11 Morning News and is thrilled to be back in her hometown, working alongside some of the most talented journalists in Pittsburgh! A Robinson Township native and graduate of Montour High School, Lauren’s love for television news began early on. As a child, she would sneak downstairs, way past her bedtime, to watch the 11pm news. Years later, she was named News Editor of the Montour Monitor, her high school newspaper, then went on to study Media & Professional Communications at the University of Pittsburgh (H2P!). While at Pitt, Lauren spent a semester abroad in London with an internship at EuroNews. After graduation, she moved south to Wild and Wonderful West Virginia, working her way up to anchor/reporter in both the Clarksburg/Morgantown (WBOY) and Charleston (WCHS) news markets. She reported on the catastrophic flood of 2016 and back-to-back teacher strikes in the State Capitol. One of her most memorable experiences was sitting down with the families of Sago Mine victims in the years after their tragic deaths and still keeps in contact with many of those families today. In her spare time, Lauren loves to travel, try new restaurants around the city, lounge at the pool with a cold beverage, and spend time with family. If you have a story idea, send her an email at Lauren.Talotta@wpxi.com.
