Near-record cold temps to start the day Friday, and more are expected Saturday morning.
Frigid conditions will stick with us the rest of the week with a few record low temperatures in jeopardy Friday and Saturday mornings.
Our bitter week of temperatures continues Wednesday with high temperatures barely making into the teens and wind chills below zero for much of the day.
Temperatures will be near zero as you head out the door with wind chills as cold as -25 degrees.
We’ll have some spotty snow showers from time to time today and Tuesday, but accumulation will be less than an inch on both days.
Snow will be around on and off this afternoon with the steadiest snow near I-80.
The Cold Weather Advisory remains in effect through noon on Tuesday.
It will be a bitter start to the week with high temperatures barely making it into the 20s Monday.
Winter is locking in for much of the rest of the month. Cold and wind chills will be the bigger stories in the near term, as most snow will be very light.
