2 people dead after Saturday night shooting in Aliquippa

ALIQUIPPA, Pa. — Two people are dead after a shooting in Beaver County.

According to state police, officers were called to the 900 block of Franklin Avenue in Aliquippa for reports of two people who’d been shot.

Police found a woman, identified as Cynthia Zipfel, 43, of Aliquippa, dead inside her vehicle.

Police also found a man, identified as Jalen Love, 26, of Aliquippa, in a parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound. Love later died.

State police say the preliminary investigation shows Zipfel and Love are the only people involved in the incident.

Police add there is no threat to the community, and a ruling on the incident will be released later.
