Five people who were sitting in the waiting room suffered minor injuries. They were treated on-site and sent home.

The driver was taken to an area hospital. We’re told she suffered from a medical emergency.

We spoke to one of the people sitting in the waiting room who was hit by shattering glass.

“The frame and glass was coming at me and I braced myself to shield myself and it hit me in the arm and that and the car was two feet in front of me,” Frank Hawryliak said. “They say inches make a difference and today I realized that. Somebody was looking after me today.”

AHN says they are contacting patients to reschedule appointments at neighboring facilities. The office is expected to reopen later this week.

AHN says there was no structural damage caused by the accident, although the glass doors and windows were completely shattered.
