Crashes snarled traffic on several major Pittsburgh-area roadways Tuesday morning after icy conditions were reported across the area.
State police said they were working with PennDOT to clear crashes on I-79 and I-376.
Since then, they said that most of the crashes are now cleared, but residual traffic may still cause issues.
Most of these sections are now open and clear. Due note residual traffic may occur this morning, stay alert of traffic, road conditions, and any workers on the shoulders!
