A jackknifed tractor-trailer shut down the I-79 south ramp to the Parkway West during a portion of the evening commute on Tuesday.
The crash happened just before 2 p.m.
State police said the truck’s fuel tank ruptured, spilling diesel onto the roadway and the nearby creek. HAZMAT crews were called to the scene to assist with cleanup.
The ramp reopened by 6 p.m.
