Large water main break on Pittsburgh’s South Side shuts down part of East Carson Street

PITTSBURGH — A large water main break on Pittsburgh’s South Side has shut down a part of East Carson Street, public safety officials say.

The break is at the end of the Birmingham Bridge.

Inbound traffic is currently shut down along East Carson Street.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area. Additional road closures are expected.
