ROSS TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Three people were hurt in a multi-vehicle crash on McKnight Road on Wednesday afternoon.
The crash on southbound McKnight Road near Braunlich Drive involved four vehicles.
There were 10 people inside the involved vehicles, with at least one person becoming trapped. Ross Township police say three people were taken to a hospital. They’re all expected to be OK.
We spoke to one person involved, who says the incident started when a truck rear-ended another vehicle.
“We were coming down the road and some big pickup truck - all you heard was screech - and then he smacked the back of the car. Glass was flying everywhere and everybody’s freaking out.”
PennDOT’s 511 map showed a temporary traffic backup while first responders cleared the scene.
