PITTSBURGH — A man is dead after a shooting in Pittsburgh’s South Side Flats neighborhood.
Public safety officials say police were called to the 1200 block of East Carson Street around 10:09 p.m. for reports of a shooting.
Officers who were already in the area found a 33-year-old man who’d been shot in the neck, down on the sidewalk.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim on Monday afternoon as Steve Robertson of Squirrel Hill South.
Officers gave him first aid, and medics took him to a hospital, but he died at 10:27 p.m.
The investigation is ongoing.
