PENN HILLS, Pa. — Penn Hills Senior High School is experiencing issues with its power.

At around 9:40 a.m., the Penn Hills School District announced that high school students would be dismissed early due to a power outage.

The students will be dismissed after the buses complete morning drop-offs and come back to the high school.

“We appreciate your understanding and cooperation,” the district said.

Duquesne Light Company said the outage was caused by equipment issues.
