Person of interest in Rostraver woman’s murder in custody on unrelated charges

ROSTRAVER, Pa. — Law enforcement released an update Wednesday on the investigation into the murder of a 24-year-old woman in Rostraver.

The Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office said the man considered a person of interest in the case is in custody on unrelated charges. Channel 11 sources say the person of interest, Dorian Jeri-Greene, was arrested in Florida.

Jennah Siebert, 24, was found shot to death inside her home on Lenity School Road on April 11. A few days later, investigators said surveillance video showed the man they considered a person of interest inside a Monongahela gas station.

The DA’s office said over the last few weeks, investigators have collected evidence, conducted hundreds of interviews and pursued every lead.

Police said they do not believe there is any further threat to the public or the Rostraver Township community.

“The Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office and Rostraver Township Police Department thank the public for their continued tips and patience as the investigation continues,” investigators said in a release.

Jeri-Greene is being held in the Hillsborough County Jail in Tampa. We learned Tampa police picked him up on a fugitive warrant on Tuesday.

We’ve also confirmed he’s charged in a home invasion and robbery in Washington County two months before Seibert’s murder. According to court documents, Jeri-Greene is accused of breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s home by destroying a door frame, then strangling her before running out of the home with a hatchet.

News of Jeri-Greene’s arrest spread quickly at the 7/11 where he was caught on camera.

“That’s good news. It’s really good news to hear they did catch someone and now we know he’s not roaming around here anymore,” Candace Esper said.

Cassie Neish lives near Seibert’s home on Lenity School Road in Rostraver.

“We definitely started really making sure everything was locked down and being aware of our surroundings more than we ever were before,” she said. “We’re hopeful the families can get some type of closure and answers.”

Channel 11 did knock on the door at Seibert’s home she shared with her fiancé, but no one answered the door.

The investigation into Siebert’s death remains active and is ongoing.
