A custodian at the Pine-Richland School District is accused of supplying vape products, some of which may have contained THC, to students.
In an email sent to families and staff, the district said it immediately contacted the Northern Regional Police Department. The employee was arrested and placed on immediate administrative leave pending the outcome of the police investigation and further proceedings.
“Student and staff safety and well-being is a priority for the district. We continue to emphasize that the use of reporting mechanisms is a critical factor in school safety,” the district said in the email.
If any parents or students have any information about this or any safety-related matter, they are asked to contact Northern Regional police at 724-625-3157 or use the Safe2Say Something application or website to make an anonymous report.
