PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed T.J. Watt to a $123 million contract extension, reports say.
The deal makes Watt, 30, the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL History for the second time in his career.

He is fully guaranteed $108 million upon signing.
Each year, he will receive $41 million per year on average, surpassing Myles Garret’s $40 million a season.
Watt held out during OTAs and the team’s mandatory minicamp as negotiations with GM Omar Khan and the front office continued.
Minutes after the news broke, Watt posted a picture on his Instagram.
The 2021 Defensive Player of the Year has the most sacks in the NFL since 2020.
