Police holding concealed carry permit satellite event in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH — The Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office is holding an event to help people get concealed carry permits in Pittsburgh.

It will be held at the Allegheny County Courthouse (436 Grant Street) from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday.

Anyone who wishes to participate should bring a completed application, a valid ID and $20 in cash.

Pre-existing permits can also be renewed at this event.

The event is meant to help people who cannot get Dowtnwon during regular business hours.
