Person of interest in young woman’s homicide seen on surveillance video

Investigators in Westmoreland County are looking for a man they say is a person of interest in the murder of a Rostraver woman. They released videos and pictures showing that person of interest, hoping someone will recognize him and come forward.

One of the videos is in a local gas station where the man is wearing all black and his face is partially covered. Police say to pay particular attention to his face and hands, which are tattooed.

They released another video showing the person of interest walking down a local street. Police pointed out his unique gait that someone might recognize.

“If you notice the gait and walk, if you notice anything that seems familiar,” Nicole Ziccarelli said. “If anyone has video footage they believe shows the victim’s vehicle, please call Rostraver Police or the Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office.”

Jennah Seibert, 24, was found dead at a home on Lenity School Road Friday afternoon. Sources tell us it appears as though she had been shot. Investigators say the victim’s SUV, a Lexus GX-550, was stolen after the murder. It was found in Monongahela.

“The time frame was roughly 7:30 in the morning to 9:30 in the morning Friday,” Chief Scott Sokol of the Rostraver Township Police Department said.

“If you have an camera on your house, or a ring doorbell or surveillance cameras, in the Rostraver or Monongahela or Donora area, please check your cameras between that time frame and see if you have that vehicle or that individual walking down the street,” Ronald Zona, Chief Detective with the Westmoreland County DA’s Office said.

Rostraver residents are also asked to check their cameras between 7:30 and 9:30 a.m. Friday for sightings of the victim’s SUV or the man of interest.

If you recognize the person of interest in the video or pictures, you’re asked to call police.
