He is suspected of killing Brandon Dean, 39, of Homestead, after he picked up four people from an abandoned home on the 2900 block of Palmgreen Street.
According to court documents, Dean was shot once in the head, once in the back of his neck and once in his left forearm.
Police said surveillance video shows at least one shot was fired by the front seat passenger. That person was wearing a hat, which fell off as they were running away.
The hat was sent to DNA experts, who police say matched it to Artemus. Officers then found his Facebook page, where they found a photo of him wearing the same hat. Police said the hat was not available fr purchase at local stores and appeared to only be available for purchase online.
Allegheny County Police renewed the push for answers in the investigation in June.
