EAST MCKEESPORT, Pa. — A man was critically injured in a shooting in East McKeesport on Tuesday.
Allegheny County dispatchers say police and medics were called to the 500 block of Woodmont Avenue near Josephine Avenue at 4:43 p.m. on Tuesday.
Police said they found a man who had been shot in the abdomen when they arrived. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
Allegheny County Police said, “Detectives have identified all individuals involved in this shooting, and there is no danger to the community.”
On Wednesday morning, police said Timere Johnson, 21, has been charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person. He is currently in the Allegheny County Jail awaiting his preliminary hearing.
