Wanted man arrested after SWAT situation in Crafton

CRAFTON, Pa. — A wanted man was arrested after a SWAT situation in Crafton.

Allegheny County Police said officers were called to the area of Parkview Street at around 4:08 p.m. on Saturday.

A man with multiple felony arrest warrants was believed to be inside an apartment building on that street.

The man refused to exit the building and SWAT units were called.

Police said the man was seen running out of the back door of the building. He was tased and taken into custody. He was then transported to a hospital to be evaluated.

The suspect has been identified as 41-year-old Richard Graham.

Graham had arrest warrants out of Pennsylvania and California.

Police said he was not the suspect Crafton officers were originally looking for.

Graham now faces escape and resisting arrest charges.
