Teen charged in armed robbery, shooting in Munhall

MUNHALL, Pa. — A teen is facing charges connected to an armed robbery that resulted in a shooting in Munhall.

Police were called to the 3900 block of Main Street at 10:53 p.m. on March 25 for reports of a woman shot in the leg.

The woman, 30, was taken to a hospital in stable condition.

During an investigation, she later told police she was approached by a man with a gun who was wearing a ski mask and demanded money.

The two got into an altercation and the man shot her in the leg and ran away.

Allegheny County Police said they used surveillance video to identify a 14-year-old boy as the suspect.

He is facing charges of aggravated assault and robbery.
