Vehicle shears pole, causes road closure in Indiana Township

INDIANA TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A vehicle crashed into a pole in Indiana Township on Thursday.

Allegheny County dispatchers said emergency crews were called to the 800 block of Dorseyville Road at 1:07 p.m.

The pole was sheared in half and some wires were down on the road.

Our Channel 11 photographer at the scene saw medics evaluate one person at the scene but no one was taken to a hospital.

Dorseyville Road is closed in the area as crews work to clean up.
