A viral video shows a woman being punched by a man multiple times at a concert at Star Lake Pavilion.
Washington County District Attorney Jason Walsh tells Channel 11, he is investigating the violence you see in the video that was taken after the Jason Aldean concert last weekend.
At the end of the night, you can see a scuffle on the ground with several women and a man.
Once they get to their feet, you see the man punch one woman in the face — then, he goes after another woman, four times in a row.
After the blows to her face, she falls to the ground, and the man angrily walks away.
It is unclear what happened in the moments before the assault.
Not long after that video went viral, two more social media posts popped up from a woman claiming to be the person who was punched in the face.
She wrote, “If you were at the Jason Aldean Concert at Starlake on 8/9 and jumped me and my friends, text me — I want to know if there’s a video of it.”
Another photo shows the woman in a hospital bed saying, “he broke my ribs, fractured my jaw, and gave me a concussion. I’m not allowed to work for 5 weeks.”
We have reached out to the Smith Township Police Department to find out if they have filed charges. We have not received a response.
