PITTSBURGH — Damp, chilly weather will start the weekend, but sunshine and warmer temperatures will be back.
A few scattered showers will fall early Saturday morning, and it may be cold enough for a little wet snow to mix in south of Pittsburgh. Most of the showers wrap up by lunchtime, leaving cloudy and cool weather through the rest of the day.
If you’re heading to Kennywood, take the jackets and sweatshirts with you.
The sun will finally break out (at least partially!) on Sunday as we warm up near average. That warm-up won’t last too long as the next cold front will blow through Monday, bringing the potential for gusty storms during the afternoon.
Another shot of cool air and wind awaits us for the middle of next week as we still await the arrival of true spring.
