PITTSBURGH — Temperatures will fall nearly 30 degrees by early Thursday morning, so dress for the winter chill. Gusty winds will make it feel even colder, with wind chills in the upper teens to 20s at the bus stop.
Off and on snow showers will continue through the day, but warmer ground temperatures should allow most of the snow to melt on roads and sidewalks. A slushy accumulation is possible on grassy areas and mulch beds.
Another quick-moving system will bring scattered snow showers late Friday into Saturday morning before temperatures start to warm up.
