PITTSBURGH — Widespread strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible through the evening hours. Not everyone will see severe storms. However, 70+ mph wind gusts, localized flooding, and isolated tornadoes will all be possible with any of the stronger storms that can develop today.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for Allegheny, Beaver, Fayette, Washington and Westmoreland counties until 8 p.m.
Most of the region is under a Flood Watch until 11 p.m.

UPDATE 3 p.m.: A Flash Flood Warning is in effect for portions of Washington and Greene County until 6 p.m.
UPDATE 1:52 p.m.: The Severe Thunderstorm Warning has expired. The Watch remains in place until 8 p.m.
UPDATE 1:08 p.m.: A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for parts of Allegheny and Washington counties until 1:45 p.m.
